Manor Solar is pleased to announce we have added Thermodynamic Panels to our range of Renewable Energy products. This exciting new product combines tried and tested technology with an innovative system concept to produce hot water for a fraction of today’s cost. Thermodynamic panels are part of the next generation of green technology, overcoming the disadvantages of traditional thermal heating by working day and night, in wind and rain down to -10°C.
These hot water systems can supply a 5 person household with hot water all year round even at night. The panels do not have to be fitted on a roof which is South facing, they can be installed anywhere! The system is not 100% reliant on the solar energy and in fact also uses the latent heat in the atmosphere, rain and wind. Therefore the panels will perform all year long, even during cold periods and transfer this energy to heat the water efficiently and successfully.
The COP (Coefficient of Performance) measures the efficiency of a system and calculates energy produced (heat) for a given electrical input. The higher the COP the better the performance and hence reduced running costs. This system is at least 20% more efficient than traditional solar thermal with a COP rating of 3 to 6.
